Laser Parameters

If you want to set up the Boss LS-3655 in LightBurn or another program, here are the settings you need:

  • Type: Ruida
  • Connection: USB or ethernet, depending on if you're connected directly via USB (the shop laptop) or ethernet (your laptop or another computer on the shop LAN)
  • 1400mm x 900mm
  • Home is rear-right position
  • 100W (don't think this is a configuration option, just good to know for selecting power settings per Recommended Settings)

Software

Lightburn

If you want to run Lightburn on your own computer, to work on stuff before coming into the shop to run a job, contact Subrata to get the discount code which lets you buy a copy for $20
There is a free trial, though, so you can run it for a while before you buy it.

LaserWorks

   We don't currently use LaserWorks
